Ocean Prime’s TUNA portions are truly outstanding. The fish are caught in the South Pacific and processed in the Marshall Islands. This tuna is a favorite of mine. It is super easy and quick to cook. Now if you like your fish well done, tuna is not the best choice for you. Tuna is unbelievable if seared to raw or medium rare state. Anything much past medium is going to be dry. And we here at Ocean Prime will guarantee to get you great fish, but we want your fish perfectly cooked so you will be back for more. So here is how we do our tuna portions.
Easiest Tuna Recipe Ever
1. Thaw the tuna portion prior to cooking.
2. On the BBQ or in a hot sauté pan (use 1-2 T of olive oil combined with Italian spices), cook the tuna 1-1 1/2 minutes per side.
3. Cut into the tuna and the inside should look quite red or raw. Perfect. (The portion will continue to cook more on the way to the table).
4. Take it off the heat and cut the portion into bite sized bits. Have some soy sauce (we use low sodium) ready in a small dipping bowl. If you are a wasabi fan, add some to the soy sauce.
5. Then, using a fork or chopsticks, dip the tuna into the soy sauce and munch away.
