So last night we cooked up some of the Ocean Prime COD fillets and they turned out awesome. The cod we get is frozen at sea immediately after the fish are caught. Quality does not get any better than that.
The fillets were put on a 375 degree BBQ for about 7-9 minutes. Be sure to put down tin foil first or use one of the pans that have holes in the bottom, as cod is a very flaky fish and will fall through the grate. To test to see if the fish is done, I usually cut into it. If it is difficult to cut into, it probably needs another minute or two. When the cod looks slightly raw and yet is easy to flake, take it off the grill. It will continue to cook on the way to the table. Once you take it off the grill, put your favorite salsa or some Trader Joe’s Mango Pineapple Salsa (great product) on top.
By not overcooking the fish, you will have a wonderfully moist, perfectly cooked, not dry, outstanding meal on your hands.
